“Me and my daughter are very happy with the Tutor Time center in Shelton for several reasons. In comparison to my experience with another day care chain, day care services at Tutor Time (Shelton, CT) seems to be on a more professional level: welcoming & attentive teachers, reach curriculum, outstanding & clean facilities, support & educational tips for parents, excellent organization of the staff and activities.
My daughter switched to this day care at age of 2 years and started in Twadlers group. Now she's in Prepper's group. Immediately I could see the difference in her behavior during the drop offs and pick ups.
I'm especially thankful to how the teachers help me and my daughter with her separation anxiety. Usually when I bring my daughter to Tutor Time day care, she runs to her favorite (permanent) teachers. However, when they're not available other teachers are always helpful in soothing the child's sad emotions. I found it very important how Tutor Time teachers handle this situation in the mornings; it gives us a tears-free start of the day!
I'm also grateful for the tips on the potty training provided by Shelton Tutor Time Center. Teachers were very enthusiastic about my daughter's ability and encouraged me to start the potty training at the day care sooner (my daughter started the training at home earlier, but we did not fully enforce it). To my surprise, my daughter had only one accident over the first two days during the training at the day care. I'm very glad that the teachers were observant and communicated with me in person. I am also very pleased to hear about my daughters developmental progress from teachers and see my daughter's new art projects.”

“Finally I found the right place for my daughter. My daughter and I love Tutor Time. Since she turned three we sent her to a couple of different day care centers. But I was never satisfied; I kept worrying about her all day. She could not get settled there either. We finally dropped out of those centers. But when we found about tutor time, I went for a tour. I loved the place at first instance. The staff was very nice and polite. The Environment there was very welcoming. The place was very clean. The first thing I liked was that all the teachers have a dress code - they all wear the Tutor Time T-shirts. I have not seen any other day care centers where teachers have a dress code. We love the staff at tutor time. My daughter loves her teacher Miss Christine and likes to spend time with her. I am not worried when I leave her at Tutor Time unlike other centers. I know she is in safe hands. I have already recommended Tutor Time to couple of my friends and they will be sending their kids to tutor time when their kids are ready to go to school. My husband and I are very satisfied with Tutor Time. Thank you Tutor Time for taking such a good care of my daughter!”

“My twins have been in Tutor Time since they were infants. I removed them from a daycare where the staff and owners where unprofessional, loving and educated! Everytime I left them I felt as if I was the worst parent ever. I remember calling Tutor Time and speaking with Stacy, what seems like, everyday until they opened! The owner gave my mother and I a tour of the school, she was also so very helpful and friendly. My kids are always surrounded by caring people. I consider myself so lucky to have found this daycare, I recommend Tutor Time to every new, old, young mother! In a world where there is a place where you can BARELY trust a sole with your children, I feel blessed to have such a safe haven! In, addition I have also made friends with other family and staff! Thank you so much Tutor Time!!

“Peace of mind! I love that I can drop off my daughter to friendly staff and directors, professionally run, and clean environment. Tutor Time is such a great learning environment and my daughter absolutely loves it there. From the moment she arrives, she is having fun and enjoying all the activities and projects. The building is very secure and always clean. I love that my daughter is learning new things everyday and really enjoys the staff as well. Procedures are always followed and I love that I can stop in anytime and visit. The staff is helpful when picking up and dropping off and easy to talk to. I receive a lot of information on how the day went. I highly recommend this daycare. My husband and I couldn't be happier.”

“I have been at the Tutor Time in Shelton since the day it opened. It is a fantastic new facility with the latest in toys and technologies. However, while that is important the best part of this site, is the people.
I have observed they are extremely particular about who they hire and how they perform. This has resulted in an absolutely superior staff that is like family to both me and my 2 boys, that spend their entire day at TutorTime.
My boys have been in every classroom in the building and they are all wonderful. I can't say enough about the staff, both administration and teaching.
My oldest boy is now in a different program but is still bused (by TutorTime) to their after school program. Ms. Jane picks him up on the TT bus everyday and Mr. Cory continues to instill important learning skills (in the after school program even) after his school day is done. This is done in a fun nurturing environment with a variety of age groups.
Thank you TT for all your support over the years.

“My daughter started out in Twaddlers then moved up to Preppers and is now in Pre K 1. I will say that the staff has been more than accomodating from the "good mornings" at drop off to the "hellos" at pick up. All in all Tutor Time spends as many waking hours with our children as we do and I think they do a great job of teaching and taking care of my daughter. To all the staff, Thank You so much!”

“Hard to believe that it has been over a year since we sent a scared, lil 2.5 yr old to tutortime for the first time. The walkthru was a few weeks before the facility opened, before the facility even had the certification and we signed up on the spot. Even at that time, with the bright independent building, brand new facility, great toys and play/learning facilities, what helped us decide, was the sincerity and enthusiasm that Stacy displayed. The quality of the facility is only surpassed by the quality of the staff thats been there, for the last year. Whether it is the smiling(and always cheerful) Rose or the friendly caring Lindcy or the always bubbly Christine, each person is willing to take that extra step to makesure that your child is happy, comfortable and safe.If you even have the slightest concern about anything, all you need to do is to mention the same to Stacy or Rose, and there is always a prompt solution. The day is full of activities, both indoor and outdoor, where the children are givennumerous opportunities to learn at their own pace using all their senses. There is always some fun stuff going on, whether it is the mayor, firemen or policemen stopping by to read stories in uniform, face painting or drum and dance fun. The curriculum is aimed at helping each child identify and develop their strengths, but as parents, the best thing we liked was the fact that there was no pressure on us or any expectations set on the child to mold to anything. The child is allowed to grow at his / her pace and is given encouragement at every stage. This even includes some tough transitions phases like potty training. The tutortime staff is there, to lend a hand to both the child and the parents at each step. Speaking of which, the lil 2.5 year old from a year ago, just got back from tutortime, gave a 5 min description about his day pepperred with terms like friends, play, excellent and fun... stated that he wanted to go back the next day, indicated that he is hungry and would like dinner as soon as possible. Trust us, he did not learn any of that from us ! Thank You Tutortime Shelton”

“Marleigh started Tutor Time in Shelton in April 2012, 3 days a week. She was struggling with social skills like sharing and not hitting. She has been thriving at Tutor Time so much so, that she now attends full-time. At 2 years old she is learning more than just social skills, she is learning colors and LOVES books and storytime. Marleigh has friends in class that she talks about at home and LOVES her teachers. She is getting much more than just daycare, she is learning new things everyday and comes home talking about her day. I couldn't be happier with Tutor Time's facility and staff.
Thank you all for making her first education experience so positive. Hopefully she will enjoy school as she progresses through her education.”

“Dear Tutor Time – Shelton,
We came to you on October last year with the hope that my son’s hypertonia would improve. Today, he is walking with a bright smile and it is in great part because of your love and tender attention to him. I want to thank all the staff, specially the infant rooms’ for their dedication and love toward my son and the administration (and those I am forgetting to mention) for their warm and commitment to the wellbeing of our children, specially my son. I could not be happier to know that you have been part of my son’s upbringing and fun childhood memories. Definitely I recommend Tutor Time in Shelton, CT.”

“As soon as we walked in the classroom on day one, she was eager to begin playing and felt very comfortable in her new surroundings. After only a day at Tutor Time in Shelton, my daughter could not stop talking about what a good day she had. She could not wait to go back the following day and play with her newly made friends. I am very happy with the staff's attentiveness to her needs as well as their quick registration process. Knowing that my child is in good hands while I'm at work makes my day go smoothly. And having a 2 year old who can't wait to go to school in the morning makes everyone's life easier. Thank you Tutor Time”

“My son was 15 months old when we found out that we were going to have our second one. My husband and I started looking for day care centers at that time, so that the transition to the new baby would be smoother. We chose tutor time, as it was bright, clean, friendly and welcoming. The children here are treated very affectinately and that gives me the peace of mind. We have seen positive changes in our son, who after starting here has picked up very good english, and as a result is a bilingual child. He is happy when I pick him up and loves his teachers especially Ms Jill and Mr Eric (even pretends to talk to them on the phone:)The facility is very creative and they take extra measures to be more than "just a Day Care". I am considering enrolling my little one after he is 6 months old.
Thank You teachers for taking care of my son.
